Why is the regeneration temperature low on my Pneumatech Dryer?
    • J
      Jenna NavarroSep 9, 2025
A low regeneration temperature in your Pneumatech Dryer, when it should normally be 250°F, can be caused by several factors. The thermostat might be faulty or set too low, so reset the thermostat or replace it if necessary. Other potential causes include heater burnout, which requires checking and possibly replacing the heater, a faulty contactor, which necessitates replacing the heater contactor, or a lack of power, which can be resolved by checking for continuity.

What to do if Pneumatech EH has high back pressure on regenerating tower?
    • A
      Anne WalkerAug 23, 2025
If your Pneumatech Other exhibits high back pressure during tower regeneration, the muffler might be plugged; in this case, replace the mufflers. Leaking check valves can also cause this; repair or replace any faulty check valves. Excess purge flow is another possibility; check and reset the purge pressure. Additionally, inspect the purge exhaust piping for restrictions; remove any obstructions or replace the piping with a larger size. Finally, you should check purge calibration, plot and reset in case of too high purge.

Why is there a high pressure drop in my Pneumatech EH?
    • T
      Todd BlackAug 25, 2025
If you're experiencing a high pressure drop in your Pneumatech Other, start by replacing the desiccant retainer screens, as they may be plugged. Check the inlet flow conditions to ensure there's no excess flow. Also, check and reset the purge pressure if the purge flow is too high. If the purge valve stays open, check the repressurizing solenoid valve, and repair or replace it if necessary and check timer.

Why is there excessive flow through mufflers in Pneumatech EH?
    • L
      lewiskatelynAug 27, 2025
If you're experiencing excessive flow through the mufflers in your Pneumatech Other, it could be due to a few reasons. Start by checking the valves for leaks and repair or replace them. Also, check the purge solenoid and valve. Repair or replace faulty purge valve or solenoid. Check repressurizing solenoid and valve. Repair or replace faulty repressurizing valve or solenoid.

What causes a Pneumatech Other dryer to fail to purge?
    • A
      Alexandria EvansAug 27, 2025
If your Pneumatech Other fails to purge, start by cleaning the orifice plate, as it may be plugged. If the purge valve fails to open, see F3. If the purge valve is closed, reset the proper purge pressure. Also, inspect the purge check valve and replace it if necessary.

What to do if there is no gas flow through the Pneumatech EH?
    • K
      kristopher58Aug 29, 2025
If there is no gas flow through your Pneumatech Other, it is possible that both inlet valves are closed due to low inlet pressure. To resolve this, manually open the inlet valve by turning the shaft or the ON actuator.

If there is no gas flow through your Pneumatech Dryer, it might be because both inlet valves are closed due to low inlet pressure. To resolve this, manually open the inlet valve by turning the shaft or the ON actuator.

Why did the moisture indicator on my Pneumatech Dryer turn pink?
    • T
      Tamara BuchananSep 22, 2025
If the moisture indicator color in your Pneumatech Dryer has turned pink, indicating wet conditions, it could be due to a closed bleed valve. Open the bleed valve to allow a small amount of air to constantly flow through the gel.

What causes high back pressure in the regenerating tower of my Pneumatech Dryer?
    • R
      ramirezmichaelSep 7, 2025
High back pressure on the regenerating tower of your Pneumatech Dryer can occur due to several reasons. A plugged muffler can cause this issue, so replace the mufflers. Leaking check valves can also contribute to high back pressure; repair or replace any faulty check valves. Excess purge flow can also be a cause, so check and reset the purge pressure. A restricted purge exhaust piping can also lead to high back pressure; remove any obstruction or replace the piping with a larger size. If the purge is too high, check the purge calibration, plot, and reset it. For EH models, ruptured diaphragms in the valves can also cause this issue; replace the diaphragms.

Why does my Pneumatech Dryer have an elevated dewpoint?
    • K
      Kyle DiazSep 4, 2025
An elevated dewpoint in your Pneumatech Dryer can occur due to several reasons. It might be caused by low purge flow, which can be resolved by resetting the purge pressure to the recommended level. Alternatively, low inlet pressure could be the culprit, requiring you to recalculate the purge pressure setting from the chart. Excess moisture carryover may also lead to this issue, in which case you should check the prefilter element and drains at the prefilter and afterfilter. High inlet temperature, excess air/gas inlet flow, desiccant coated with oil, regeneration temperature low, or a dewpoint monitor out of calibration can also cause this problem. Check aftercooler operation, total output of compressors, depressurize dryer and inspect desiccant, or recalibrate probe.
