Remove faceplate label

Use a utility
knife to
carefully pry
up a corner
of the label.
Slowly and
carefully
peel o the
entire label.
Using a #1 Philips
screwdriver, remove all 4
screws securing the faceplate.
Remove 4 screws
to detach faceplate

Remove faceplate
assembly from housing
Attach Bluetooth board
to board assembly
Secure Bluetooth
board with screw
Remove hex screws
securing WiFi board
Get ready to install the new
Bluetooth board

Grabbing the faceplate by the
charging port or the edges, carefully
remove the faceplate assembly.
Removing the WiFi board exposes 2
blocks of pins, one 8-pin block, and
one 6-pin block. The pin holes on
the Bluetooth board will line up
with these.
Using the hex wrench, remove the 2
screws holding the WiFi board in place.
Be careful to
not damage
connected
wires.
Place the faceplate
assembly upside down
on a flat surface to
expose the circuit boards.
The WiFi board which will be replaced.
Your new
Bluetooth
board.
Don’t over-
squeeze!
Do not overtighten! Just
enough to hold the
board in place securely.
Carefully line up the pins with the pin
holes for both the 6-pin and 8-pin
blocks and press down. You’ll feel the
board stop when completely inserted.

Summary

Remove Faceplate Label

Peel Off Label

Use a utility knife to carefully pry up a corner of the label and slowly peel off the entire label.

Detach Faceplate

Remove Securing Screws

Using a #1 Philips screwdriver, remove all 4 screws securing the faceplate.

Remove Faceplate Assembly

Careful Removal From Housing

Grabbing the faceplate by the charging port or edges, carefully remove the faceplate assembly, avoiding damage to wires.

Expose Circuit Boards

Place the faceplate assembly upside down on a flat surface to expose the circuit boards.

Remove WiFi Board

Remove Hex Screws

Using the hex wrench, remove the 2 screws holding the WiFi board in place.

Attach Bluetooth Board

Align and Press Board

Carefully line up the pins with the pin holes for both the 6-pin and 8-pin blocks and press down until the board stops.

Secure Bluetooth Board

Tighten Screw Securely

Secure the Bluetooth board with a screw, tightening just enough to hold it in place securely.

Re-insert Faceplate Assembly

Insert into Housing

Carefully insert the assembly back into the POGO's head cavity, ensuring wires are tucked inside.

Position GPS Antenna

Make sure the GPS antenna is facing the top of the POGO.

Insert Faceplate Screws

Align and Tighten

Make sure the faceplate is flush and all 4 screw holes line up, then insert and tighten screws until snug.

Apply New Faceplate Label

Apply Label Carefully

Peel off the label's backing and carefully apply it by lining up the charging port and corners.
