Mini
Dehumidifier
Always unplug the unit from the power outlet before cleaning to avoid the
risk of electric shocks.
Wipe the outside of the mini dehumidifier with a soft, damp cloth. In
particular, wipe down the air vents to remove any dust or particles. A
vacuum with a brush attachment can be used if available. Do not use strong
chemicals, oil-based products, or detergents, as this will damage the surface
of the unit.
To prevent any mold or mildew build-up to occur, the Water Tank should
be cleaned regularly.
To remove the build-up, use a funnel to pour a solution of 1/3 white vinegar
and 2/3 water into the Water Tank. Let it sit for at least 1 hour. Pour out the
solution. Rinse the Water Tank out with warm soapy water until the vinegar
smell dissipates.
CAUTION! Do not allow any water to come in contact with the internal parts.
1. Switch OFF the dehumidifier by pressing the
ON/OFF Button to OFF position (O).
2. Hold the top of the unit and gently slide out the
Water Tank.
3. Open the Drain Plug and pour out the collected
water.
4. Reinsert the Drain Plug and slide the Water Tank
back into the unit.
5. To continue dehumidifying, press the ON/OFF
Button to ON position (I).

Overview

The Pohl+Schmitt Mini Dehumidifier, Model No.: MD500, is a compact and quiet appliance designed to remove excess moisture from small rooms and poorly ventilated areas. Utilizing Peltier technology (no compressor), it is lightweight and ideal for spaces such as wardrobes, cabinets, bathrooms, or storage rooms that are susceptible to damp odors and fungus.

Function Description:

The primary function of this mini dehumidifier is to extract moisture from the air, thereby reducing humidity levels. It operates by drawing in moist air, cooling it to condense the water vapor, and then expelling dry air. The collected water is stored in a removable water tank. The unit features an ON/OFF button, an "On" indicator light (green), and a "Full" indicator light. When the water tank is full, the unit automatically stops operating, and the "Full" indicator light illuminates, signaling that the tank needs to be emptied. A light breeze will be felt from the Dry Air Outlet when the dehumidifier is operating.
