MAINTENANCE OF THE FUEL FILTER AND PIPES
Clean every 3 months or 50 hours of operation and eventually replace.
If used in dusty reduce cleaning intervals.
1. Open the cover of the box lter.
2. Remove the sponge element.
3. Wash with water and soap and rinse well.
4. Let it dry.
5. Soak the element in clean engine oil.
6. Squeeze to remove an excess of oil. If in the sponge there were residual oil excessive, the
engine might fume.
7. Reclose the cover of the box properly with its gasket.
Fuel pipes
Check daily that there are no cuts or cracks and the joints are solid.
Verify that there are no fuel leaks.
Replace if necessary.
Fuel tap and fuel lters
Clean every 6 months or 100 hours of operation.
1. Close the fuel faucet.
2. Unscrew with a key the cup placed on the bottom of the fuel faucet.
3. Clean the cup with an non-ammable solvent.
4. Ret the cup being careful to the gasket, replace if damaged.
5. Try opening the faucet to check for leaks.
Fuel lter on the tank
Clean daily with non-ammable solvent the fuel lter placed under the ller cap of the tank.
Internal engine parts, mufer, valves, combustion chamber and so on.
Every 300 hours of operation make control these parts by an authorized service center.
For a proper functioning of the generator, we recommend to replace the mufer every 100
hours of use
