8 Transferring Pictures and Video Clips to Your Computer
• Before Transferring Pictures
IMPORTANT! - FOR PC USERS
BEFORE YOU CONNECT THE DIGITAL CAMERA TO YOUR COMPUTER,
MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE INSTALLED THE SOFTWARE FROM THE
ENCLOSED CD. Please refer to “7 Installing the Software onto a Computer”.

1. Turn the Mode dial to

2. Plug the labelled end of the USB cable into the USB port marked
on your computer.
3. Plug the other end of the USB cable into the USB port on your
camera.
NOTE:
The camera is powered by the USB when connected to a computer.
