If steam isn't coming out of your POLTI Iron soleplate, there are a couple of things to check. First, make sure the power is on and the On/Off switch is pressed. Second, check if the low water light is on, indicating there's no water in the boiler. If so, follow the instructions in chapter #6 to refill it.

Why is there little steam coming from my POLTI 535 ECO PRO soleplate?

If only a little steam comes from the POLTI Iron soleplate, it could be because the steam regulation knob is set at the minimum value. Try increasing the steam flow by adjusting the steam regulation knob to the medium or maximum value. Alternatively, the steam might be very dry, making it barely visible but still present and effective, especially in certain environmental conditions.

What to do if some water drops are present on the fabric when using POLTI 535 ECO PRO Iron?

If you notice water drops on the fabric while using your POLTI Iron, the ironing board cover might be the issue. If the cover is wet because it can't withstand the steam, ensure that the ironing board is suitable, ideally one with a grid to prevent condensation.

Why does water come out of my POLTI 535 ECO PRO Iron soleplate instead of steam?
    • T
      thompsoncharlesSep 12, 2025
If water comes out from the POLTI Iron soleplate instead of steam, it could be due to several reasons. First, the optimal settings for ironing might not have been reached; ensure the lights are off, indicating the temperature and pressure have reached the correct levels. Second, the temperature knob on the iron might be set at the minimum value; adjust it to the medium or maximum value. Finally, the boiler might be overfilled; push the steam button on the iron, directing the steam flow onto a cloth, until steam comes out from the holes of the iron soleplate.
