5. GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Before attempting any maintenance operation, make sure
to always disconnect the appliance from the mains.
Always make sure that the appliance is cooled before
beginning any type of maintenance.
Do not use acids or solvents to clean the base. Use only a
damp cloth, taking care that any excess water does not
touch the electrical parts of the appliance.
Never use metal or abrasive objects or aggressive or
abrasive detergents.
Wash the pot by hand and dry it with a soft cloth.
Wash the accessories with water and detergent.
Never wash any part in a dishwasher.
6. TROUBLESHOOTING - TIPS
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
The indicator light on the “high-
temperature” key flashes
malfunction in the heating system contact an assistance centre
The milk does not froth Wrong accessory
Frother accessory is attached wrong
There is less than 100 ml. of milk in
the pot
Attach the correct accessory
Attach the accessory properly
Increase the amount of milk until it
reaches at least the minimum mark
The appliance does not work and
one of the function buttons does
not light up
The appliance has not been activated
The electrical socket is defective
The pot is not completely on the base
Activate the appliance by pressing one
of the function buttons
Try with a different electrical socket
Place the pot completely on the base
