What to do if Polycom Universal Remote control will not respond?
    • S
      Sarah MillerJul 30, 2025
If the Polycom Universal Remote control doesn't respond, ensure there's a clear line of sight between the remote and the camera or microphone. Obstructions can prevent the signal from reaching the receiver. Also, replace the batteries with three new AAA batteries to ensure the remote is adequately powered.

Locate the power switches on both the codec and monitor. The system must go through a start up process. This takes just a moment. The system is ready to make and/or receive calls once the IP indicators on the Main Menu turn green. Should one or more of the indicators remain red, turn the PolyCom EX system off. Wait approximately ten (10) seconds before turning the system on again.
