What to do if Jaws fail to open on Pop ProSet 1600?
If the jaws fail to open on your Pop Power Tool, the nose housing, jaws, or jaw guide might be dirty; perform a “Front End Service” and clean the inside of the nose housing. Another cause could be a loose nose housing, so tighten it. Finally, excess hydraulic oil in the tool could be the problem; have the tool serviced by qualified service personnel.
Why my Pop Power Tool fails to operate?
Your Pop Power Tool might fail to operate due to several reasons: it may not be connected to the air supply—connect it to the recommended air supply source. The OS Valve might be in the “OFF” position—slide it to the ON position. The air pressure might be insufficient or too high—adjust the air supply pressure accordingly. Lastly, the tool could be low on hydraulic fluid, in which case you should have it serviced by qualified personnel.
