CHECKING OPERAf'ION OF ANTI- BACKFIRE VALVE
1. Disconnect hose between valve and intake air
sensor adapter at valve and insert a plug in
open end
of hose.
2. Start engine. Increase speed briefly to 3000 rpm.
Close throttle valve suddenly.
3. Check if air is being sucked in through valve
hose connection. Replace valve if suction
cannot
be felt.
