Information: Chargingofthehigh-voltage battery iscancelledandthe C heck Engine warninglightcomesoninthe
instrumentcluster. Inmanycases, it maybepossibleto continue c hargingthe vehicleoncethevehicle
plughas been disconnectedandthenre-connectedto the vehicle.
Thisfaultiscaused by voltagefluctuationsinthesupplynetwork(e.g. thedomesticconnection)towhich
thehigh-voltagebattery charger is connected.
Theentry'B200000 – Controlunit,functionrestriction(E10105)'isstored inthefaultmem ory
ofthehigh-voltagecharger(OBC)controlunitasanactivefaultmemoryentry,whichcannot be deleted
initially. As a result, the CheckEnginewarninglightisnotdeactivated.
Actionrequired: Intheeventof a customer complaint,re-program the high-voltagecharger(OBC)controlunitusingthe
relevantprogrammingcode.

• Controlunitprogrammingsetsthefaultmemoryentry'B200000 – Controlunit,functionrestriction
(E10105)'topassive,whichcanthen be deleted.
• Wearecurrentlyworkingonasoftwaresolutionthatpermanentlycorrects the fault type described
here. As soon asitbecomesavailable, thisTechnicalInformation(TI)willbeupdatedaccordingly.
• Replacingthecontrolunitwillnotcorrect the problembecause theparts that arecurrentlyavailable
usethesame softwareasthecontrolunitthatwastheobjectofthecomplaint.

Pleaseinformthecustomer thatuntilsucha time asthesoftware is updated,wecannotruleoutthepossi-
bilitythatthe faultwilloccuragainon the same char
gingconnection as before.
Remindthecustomerto use anothercharge c onnection untilfurthernotice,ifpossible.
