PART 1
Think of the PortionPro Rx as a
new friend you’re getting to know.
1. Manually open the food bowl
door. To open OR close the
bowl door, hold and at
the same time for 2 seconds,
first making sure all collar
tags and pets wearing them
are at least 3 feet away
from the PortionPro Rx.
2. Unplug the PortionPro Rx.
3. To start, place your pet’s
current food bowl next
to the PortionPro Rx.
4. Make the PortionPro Rx the
place to be—sit on the floor
and cheer your pet on.
5. Gradually move some of
the pet’s food to the
PortionPro Rx bowl.
6. Place treats in and
around the PortionPro Rx
along with the
regular food.*
7. Most pets will quickly
make friends with the new
PortionPro Rx. If your pet
holds back, stay positive
and generous with praise,
treats, and coaxing. Once
your pet eats readily from
the PortionPro food bowl,
it’s time to plug the feeder
back in and move to Part 2.
*Use high-quality, low-calorie food treats
with veterinary supervision.
PART 2
It’s normal for the subtle sound
and movement of the PortionPro
Rx bowl door to catch the
attention of, or even startle, a
pet at first. Try these tricks to
help Fluy or Fido settle in faster:
1. Plug in your PortionPro Rx to
get it up and running again.
2. Sprinkle high-quality,
low-calorie treats in and
around the PortionPro
Rx food bowl, enticing
your pet to come near.
