How to fix a Poulan Pro PP136E Trimmer that will not start?
- CCraig FloresJul 26, 2025
If your Poulan Pro Trimmer engine won't start, make sure the ON/OFF switch is in the ON position. Other possible causes include a flooded engine (refer to “Starting a Flooded Engine” in the Operation Section), an empty fuel tank (fill it with the correct fuel mixture), a faulty spark plug (install a new one), or fuel not reaching the carburetor (check for a dirty fuel filter and replace it, or inspect the fuel line for kinks or splits and repair or replace it). If none of these steps work, the carburetor may require adjustment, and you should contact an authorized service dealer.
