Power Crimp® 707 Calibration Test Procedure
Before initiating calibration procedure, cycle crimper 5 times. To cycle, dial in a setting of 2.00 and run crimper down to
shutoff with no die set loaded.
Install “733” die set to calibrate the machine using any ½” 8G MegaCrimp® coupling such as part number G25100-0808.
Set digital readout setting to 5.20.
When changing the setting, always move to a higher number then down to the desired setting.
Remove coupling and measure crimp diameter, which should measure 1.000”±.003”.
If coupling is not within1.000” (± .003”) of the crimp diameter, refer to the manual for adjustment procedures.
