      Angela SimsJul 27, 2025
If your Power Products Inverter generator runs but doesn't support all connected devices, it might be overloaded. To resolve this, turn off and unplug all electrical devices, then turn off the generator. After waiting a few minutes, restart the generator and try connecting fewer electrical loads. Also, a short in one of the connected devices may be the cause. Disconnect any faulty or short-circuited electrical loads. Lastly, check if the air cleaner is dirty and clean or replace it.

How to fix Power Products Inverter when engine will not start?

If your Power Products Inverter engine won't start, first ensure the engine switch is set to "on". If it's already on, check that the fuel valve is in the "open" position. Also, make sure the choke is closed. The engine might be out of gas, so add more if needed. If the gas is old or contaminated, change it. A dirty spark plug can also prevent starting, so clean it. If cleaning doesn't work, the spark plug might be broken and need replacement. Ensure the generator is on a level surface to prevent the low oil shutdown from triggering, and check the oil level, adding or replacing oil as necessary.

If your Power Products Inverter engine runs but there is no electrical output, the circuit reset button may be off. Wait for 2 minutes and push the circuit reset button to the "on" position. A bad extension cord could also be the problem, so try a different one. Finally, the electrical device connected to the generator may be faulty; try connecting a different device to check.
