Overview

The Power Smokeless Grill is an indoor electric grilling appliance designed to provide outdoor grilling results with minimal smoke and visible vapors. It is intended for normal household use and is not suitable for commercial or retail environments. The grill features a built-in electric fan and a silicon-sealed lid to help reduce smoke and maintain cooking temperature.

Function Description:

The Power Smokeless Grill allows users to grill various foods indoors without the excessive smoke typically associated with grilling. It operates by plugging into a standard electrical outlet and offers adjustable temperature settings to accommodate different cooking needs. The appliance includes a nonstick grill plate for cooking, with an optional griddle plate available for different cooking styles. A drip tray and collection pan/water tray are integrated into the design to collect grease and liquids, contributing to the smokeless operation. The electric fan, located in the base unit, helps to draw smoke and vapors away from the cooking surface.

Usage Features:

To use the grill, first ensure it is placed on a stable, level, horizontal, and heat-resistant surface, with ample air space around it for proper airflow. Before the first use, all packing materials, labels, and stickers should be removed. The glass lid, nonstick grill plate, drip tray, and collection pan should be hand washed with warm, soapy water. The base unit should be wiped clean with a moist cloth, but never submerged in water. Approximately 2 cups of water should be added to the collection pan before cooking.

The grill is operated via a control panel. After plugging in the power cord, an LED light will blink, indicating it's ready. The Power Button is then selected to turn on the unit, and the Fan Button is pressed to activate the electric fan. The fan should remain running throughout the grilling process to prevent grease buildup. Cooking temperature can be adjusted using the Temperature Arrows, ranging from 220°F to 450°F. For keeping food warm, a temperature between 220°F and 250°F is recommended. The grill can be preheated for 4–6 minutes if starting with a cold grill.

Food should be prepared and seasoned according to personal preference, and the grill plate's cooking surface can be sprayed or wiped with cooking oil. The glass lid is recommended during cooking to maintain temperature, seal in flavor, and prevent splatter. Users should wear oven mitts when handling the hot glass lid and handle. Food should be turned as needed. Once grilling is complete, both the Power and Fan Buttons should be pressed to shut down the unit, and the power cord should be unplugged. The unit must cool completely before disassembly for cleaning.

The grill plate can be switched out with an optional griddle plate. To remove a plate, use two hands to hold the metal handles on each side and pull straight upward. If the grill was recently used, the plate and handles will be hot, so oven mitts should be used. To attach a new plate, hold it with two hands by the metal handles and lay it evenly on top of the heating element.

Maintenance Features:

Regular cleaning is essential for the Power Smokeless Grill. Before cleaning, the power cord must be unplugged, and the unit allowed to cool completely. The grill plate, drip tray, collection pan, and glass lid are dishwasher-safe (bottom rack) or can be hand washed with warm, soapy water. The base unit can be cleaned by hand with a warm, damp cloth and mild cleaning liquid. For a more thorough cleaning of the base unit, the electric fan can be removed.

To remove the electric fan, turn over the base unit, slide and remove the fan cover, and then lift the fan out. Care should be taken as fan blades are sharp. When reinserting the fan, ensure the two-prong connection is properly inserted into the receptacle.

It is important to wash the grill surface after each use to remove accumulated grease. To prevent grease from dripping outside the base, ensure the grill is on a level surface and the drip tray is clear of food particles. Scouring pads or harsh cleaners should not be used on the unit; instead, a nylon bristle brush or plastic scrubbing pad is recommended. The unit should be rinsed thoroughly and dried immediately with a soft towel. Any servicing beyond basic cleaning should be performed by an authorized service representative.

The grill is designed with safety in mind, including a three-prong plug for polarized outlets. It is crucial not to immerse the main unit housing (containing electrical components) in water or allow liquid into it. The appliance is not intended for use by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities without supervision.
