  If the string on your Power works Trimmer won't advance when using the bump-feed head, there could be several reasons. The string might be welded to itself; try lubricating it with silicone spray. Alternatively, there might not be enough string on the spool, in which case you should install more string. The string could also be worn too short; try pulling the string while pressing the line release button. Finally, the string might be tangled on the spool; remove the string and rewind it.
