If the PowerBoss Engine turns over but won't start, several factors could be at play. First, ensure you have enough fuel by refueling the engine. Check that the fuel tap is in the ON or OPEN position, and the choke is CLOSED. Also, verify the engine switch is ON. Inspect the spark plug: if it's fouled, faulty, or not gapped correctly, replace or gap it. If the spark plug is wet with fuel, clean and dry it, then refit and start the engine with the throttle set to FAST. Stale fuel should be drained and replaced, and a blocked or restricted fuel filter should be replaced. If the carburetor is malfunctioning, take the engine to your PowerBoss dealership.
