Step 1 Location - Wall Cutout
Determine SoundBar wall mount location.
Align between wall framing studs.
Use stud finder to determine in-wall obstructions between
framing both VERTICALLY and HORIZONTALLY.
Install horizontal below, TV PowerOUT and wall bracket.
Align with upper TV PowerOUT within same stud-bay
no more than 60” apart.
Install no more than 60” apart from the lower PowerIN,
unless you install optional PowerConnector Extension part CKRE
Use supplied template sheet to mark area to cut out from drywall.
Use a level to maintain proper alignment.
Carefully use drywall saw to cut along outside of line.
Do not exceed more
than 60” apart

Summary

Step 1 Location - Wall Cutout

Determine Mounting Location and Obstructions

Locate SoundBar position, align with studs, and check for in-wall obstructions vertically and horizontally.

Prepare Drywall Cutout

Use the template to mark the cutout area, ensuring proper alignment with a level, and cut carefully.

Installation Considerations

Install within wood/metal stud walls, manage insulation, and adhere to distance limits between components.

Step 2 Wall Installation

Route Cables and Connect Upper PowerOUT

Fish audio cables and PowerConnect cable to SoundBar cutout, then connect the upper PowerOUT to the SoundBar cable.

Route Lower PowerIN Cable and Audio Cables

Fish the 6' PowerConnect cable to the PowerIN location and slide audio cables through the opening.

Install SoundBar Power Panel

Slide the SoundBar power panel into the wall opening and secure it carefully, avoiding over-tightening.

Connect PowerIN Cables

At the PowerIN location, connect both PowerConnect cable connectors, ensuring they click into place.

Disconnecting PowerConnectors

Instructions on how to properly disconnect PowerConnectors by pressing the locking latch.

Step 3 SoundBar Power Connection

Final SoundBar Setup

Plug in the SoundBar power cord, manage the cord within the cavity, and install the SoundBar as per manufacturer directions.
