What to do if my Powerhorse 750122 Engine will not start?
- JJeffrey HughesJul 30, 2025
If your Powerhorse Engine won't start, there are several potential causes. First, check if you're out of fuel; if the engine is cold, make sure the choke lever is correctly set and add fuel. Another cause may be that the engine is flooded, in which case you should set the choke lever to the open/run position. Finally, a dirty or faulty spark plug could be the culprit. Remove the spark plug and clean it. Check the electrode spacing and set the gap to the correct dimension as described in the Maintenance Section. If the plug is damaged, replace it with a new one and ensure it's properly installed and the wire is connected.
