Safety Instructions
All Operators Must Read These
Instructions Before Use
Always follow these safety guidelines. Failure to do so may
result in serious bodily injury or death. Save all warnings and
instructions for future reference.
General Safety
mWARNING! When using the paint sprayer basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of
re, electric shock, and personal injury. These include:
Work Area Safety
1. Keep work area clean and well-lit – Cluttered, dark
areas invite accidents.
2. Keep children, bystanders, and pets away – All
spectators, including pets, should be kept a safe distance
away from the work area.
3. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres
Such as in the presence of ammable liquids, gases, or
dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust
or fumes.
Personal Safety
1. Stay alert – Watch what you are doing. Use common
sense. Do not operate the paint sprayer when you are
tired, or under the inuence of alcohol or drugs.
2. Dress properly – Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry.
They can get caught in moving parts. Loose clothes,
jewelry, or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
3. Avoid unintentional starting – Ensure the On/O switch
is in the OFF position before inserting the battery, picking
up or carrying the tool. Do not carry the tool with your
nger on the trigger.
4. Do not overreach – Keep proper footing and balance at
all times. Proper footing and balance enable better control
of the cordless paint sprayer in unexpected situations.
5. Use personal protective equipment – Always wear eye
protection. Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-
skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for
appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
6. Remove accessories or attachments before turning
paint sprayer on.
7. If devices are provided for the connection of dust
extraction and collection facilities, ensure these are
connected and properly used – Use of dust collection
can reduce dust-related hazards.
Tool Use and Care
1. Do not force the tool – It will perform better with less
likelihood of personal or mechanical injury if it is used at
the rate for which it was designed.
2. Do not use the paint sprayer if switch does not turn on
or o – Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the
switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
3. Disconnect the battery pack from the paint
sprayer before making any adjustments, changing
accessories, or storing the paint sprayer – Such
preventive safety measures reduce risk of starting the
power tool accidentally.
4. Store idle paint sprayer out of reach of children or
other untrained persons – paint sprayers are dangerous
in the hands of untrained users.
5. Maintain the cordless paint sprayer – Check for
misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage
of parts, and any other condition that may aect the
sprayer's operation. If damaged, have the paint sprayer
serviced before using. Many accidents are caused by
poorly maintained tools.
6. Use the paint sprayer, accessories etc. in accordance
with these instructions, taking into account the
working conditions and the work to be performed
Use of the paint sprayer for operations dierent from
those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
Battery Tool Use and Care
1. Recharge only with the charger specied by the
manufacturer – A charger that is suitable for one type
of battery pack may create a risk of re when used with
another battery pack.

of other battery packs may create a risk of injury or re.

    Why is there little or no material flow from my POWERJOE 24V-PS1?

      There could be several reasons for little or no material flow. The nozzle or suction tube might be clogged, so clean them with the provided tools. The material volume setting could be too low; increase it using the flow control knob. The suction tube or the paint container might be loose, so tighten them. Finally, the air filter might be clogged, so clean it.

      If the spray is not fine, it could be due to several factors. The viscosity of the material might be too high, so thin it properly. The spray tip orifice may be too large, so change to a smaller nozzle tip. Also, the material volume setting could be too high, so decrease the spray amount by adjusting the flow control knob. The nozzle or air filter might be clogged, so clean them. Finally, ensure there is enough pressure by tightening the paint container.

      Material leaking could be due to a few reasons. Check if the nozzle is loose and securely insert the nozzle tip. The nozzle might be worn, in which case you should replace it. Also, the suction tube could be loose, so tighten it. Material buildup blocking the air cap and nozzle can also cause leaks, so clean them.

      Too much overspray can occur if the sprayer is too far from the surface, so reduce the distance. It can also happen if too much paint is applied, so decrease the spray amount by adjusting the flow control knob or move quickly with the sprayer.

      If paint runs or drips on the surface, it could be because too much paint is being applied. Decrease the spray amount by adjusting the flow control knob. Also, try to move faster with the sprayer.
