This accessory, when mounted to the bracket, is designed

for use with the Powermatic model PM2014 Lathe.

Assembly and operation

See Figure 1.

1. Mount the bracket to the two threaded holes atop the

lathe head with the socket head screws, and tighten.

2. Mount the lamp to the bracket with the four pan head

screws, and tighten.

Loosen hand knobs to adjust lamp position. Tighten knobs

to secure in position. The LED head can be rotated on its

own axis until it contacts the stop pin.

Before turning on lathe, make sure

spinning workpiece will not contact lamp. Ensure that

hand knobs are tight to prevent lamp from migrating

into workpiece during operation.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS

This tool must be grounded. In the event of a malfunction

or breakdown, grounding provides a path of least

resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric

shock. This tool is equipped with an electric cord having an

equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The

plug must be plugged into a matching outlet that is properly

installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes

and ordinances.

Do not modify the plug provided - if it will not fit the outlet,

have the proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.

Improper connection of the equipment-grounding

conductor can result in a risk of electric shock.

The conductor with insulation having an outer surface that

is green with or without yellow stripes is the equipment-

grounding conductor. If repair or replacement of the electric

cord or plug is necessary, do not connect the equipment-

grounding conductor to a live terminal.

Check with a qualified electrician or

service personnel if the grounding instructions are not

completely understood, or if in doubt as to whether the

tool is properly grounded. Failure to comply may

cause serious or fatal injury.

Use only 3-wire extension cords that have 3-prong

grounding plugs and 3-pole receptacles that accept the

tool's plug.

Usage Features:

Assembly:
1. Mount the bracket to the two threaded holes on top of the lathe head using the M12 socket head cap screws and tighten them securely.
2. Mount the LED lamp to the bracket using the four M4 pan head screws and tighten them.
Adjustment: The lamp's position can be adjusted by loosening the hand knobs. Once the desired position is achieved, tighten the hand knobs to secure the lamp. The LED head itself can be rotated on its own axis until it contacts a designated stop pin, offering flexibility in directing the light.
Safety Precautions:
- Before turning on the lathe, always ensure that the spinning workpiece will not come into contact with the lamp.
- Verify that the hand knobs are tightly secured to prevent the lamp from shifting or migrating into the workpiece during operation, which could lead to damage or injury.
Grounding Instructions:
