How to troubleshoot a PowerStroke PS903500 that will not start?

  If your PowerStroke Inverter's engine won't start, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the engine switch and fuel valve are both in the ON position. Check the fuel level and replenish if low. If the gasoline is stale or contaminated with water, drain the system and refill with fresh fuel. Also, verify the lubricant level and top it off if needed. Inspect the spark plug for faults, fouling, or improper gapping, replacing it if necessary. If the choke lever is in the RUN position, move it to START. Lastly, drain the fuel and carburetor if the engine was stored without proper treatment or was refueled with bad gasoline.

  An occasional light knocking or pinging under a heavy load isn't usually a cause for concern in your PowerStroke Inverter. However, if the knocking or pinging occurs under normal load at a steady engine speed, try switching to a different brand of gasoline with an octane rating of 86 or higher.
