Werde n Objektive ohne Blendenelektrik benutzt, wird mit Arbeits-
ble nde gearbeitet. Gegenüber der .. Offenblendenmessung" ist zu
be ac hten:
Umsc halter (17) auf das Symbol .,Arbeitsblende" )(stellen.
An Objektive n mit Abblendautomatik ist der Umschalter für die
Ble ndenfunkt ion auf .,M" (manuell) zu stellen.
Bei Ob jektiven, die nur eine Abblendtaste oder einen Abblendhebel
(PANCOL AR) besitzen, sind diese zur Kontrolle der Belichtungszeit
s owie vor und während der Aufnahme zu betätigen.
rür Objektive ohne Abblendautomatik (Vorwahlblende, einfache
Bl e nde u. ä.) wird die Schärfe bei größter Blendenöffnung einge-
ste llt und anschließend abgeblendet.

When using Jenses which are not fitted with an electric diaphragm
Iransmission system, you have to make use of the taking aperture.
fhere are some differences as to "open aperture metering":
Set the se lecting ring (17) to "taking aperture" symbol )( .
On Jenses arranged for automatic stopping-down, set the aperture
funct ion selector element to "M" (manual operation).
Whe n using Jenses fitted with a stopping-down key or a stopping-
d own Iever (PANCOLAR) only this means must be actuated before
as weil as during exposure to check the shutter speed.
With Jenses without automatic stopp ing - down operation (preset dia-
p hrag m, standerd diaphragm, etc.) you focus at the widest aperture
ond stop itthen down .
