Remove screws from damperKeep screws safe to re use themDetach damper from face plate
Keep damper if requiredYou can x them backFix damper back on face plate
and insert screws in the holes.
You may require to clean the oor register or want to re-paint them.
This is easy way to remove and x it back. The steel dampers at
back are removable and can be removed just using screw driver,
