FCC COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION INTERFERENCE STATEMENT:
WARNING: Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible
for compliance could void the user authority to operate the equipment.
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
1. This device may not cause harmful interference, and
2. This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause
undesired operation.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device,
pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection
against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can
radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may
cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference
will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or
television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is
encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
1. Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
2. Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
3. Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
4. Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
WARNING:
Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Batteries may explode or leak. Keep the batteries away from
children and pets. Risk of fire. Do not exceed electrical ratings. For indoor use only.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Plug the receiver into a grounded 3-wire indoor outlet, and then plug the lights or devices to be
controlled into the receiver.
2. Make sure there is power to the outlet the receiver is plugged into.
3. Remove the plastic battery tab from the battery compartment in the back of the remote control to
activate CR2032, 3V pre-installed battery
4. The red indicator light on the receiver is lit when the indoor unit is powered on.
HELPFUL TIPS:
Make sure the receiver is plugged into a working AC outlet
Make sure the receiver and connected equipment are turned on
Make sure the remote control ON button is pushed
Make sure the CR2032, 3V battery in the remote control is still functioning
BATTERY REPLACEMENT:
1. On the right bottom corner of the remote use your finger to slide out the battery holder
2. Remove the spent battery and insert a new CR2032 3V Button-Cell Battery with
the “+” polarity mark facing up
3. Slide the battery holder back inside
4. Dispose of the old battery in compliance with all applicable laws. For detail information, contact your
local solid waste authority.
RE-SYNCHING THE TRANSMITTER:
If the remote does not turn the devices on or off, the receiver and transmitter need to be re-synched.
Plug the receiver into a properly grounded outlet. While the receiver LED is flashing, press the "ON"
button on the remote, and then press the "OFF" button on the remote until the LED stops flashing.
IC REGULATORY STATEMENT
Under Industry Canada regulations, this radio transmitter may only operate using an antenna of a type and
maximum (or lesser) gain approved for the transmitter by Industry Canada. To reduce potential radio
interference to other users, the antenna type and its gain should be so chosen that the equivalent
isotropically radiated power (e.i.r.p.) is not more than that necessary for successful communication.
