740-T88D Eight Channel
LIMITED WARRANTY
This product is warranted to be free from defects in
material and/or workmanship for a period of two
years from date of original installation, not to ex-
ceed 30 months from date of shipment from our
factory.
Any component which proves to be faulty in material
and/or workmanship will be replaced or repaired (at
the option of Prince Castle, Inc.) without cost to the
customer for parts or labor.
This warranty is subject to the following exceptions/
conditions:
! This equipment is portable, charges for on loca-
tion service (e.g. trip charges and mileage) are
not included in the provisions of this warranty.
! Use of any non-genuine Prince Castle parts
voids this warranty. All genuine Prince Castle
replacement spare parts are warranted for ninety
(90) days from date of purchase.
! All work must be performed by an authorized
Prince Castle Service Agency. Failure to do so
will void this warranty.
! Damage caused by carelessness, neglect, and/
or abuse (e.g., dropping, tampering or altering
parts), equipment damaged in shipment, by fire,
flood or an act of God is not covered under this
warranty.

Summary

Installation

Displays and Indicators

Time Display

Shows the time for the selected channel number.

H:M Indicator

Indicates the time value is in Hours and Minutes.

M:S Indicator

Indicates that the time value is in Minutes and Seconds.

LED Indicators

Lights above channel buttons change color by stage.

Controls

Channel Button

Activates countdown sequence in run mode or increases time in program mode.

Scan/Up Arrow

Increases time values or alarm volume.

Scan/Down Arrow

Decreases time values or alarm volume.

Programming

Entering Program Mode

Press and hold the PRINCE CASTLE logo for six seconds to enter program mode.

Red Stage Programming

Set the time for the first stage (RED LED) using arrow buttons.

Green Stage Programming

Set the time for the second stage (GREEN LED) using arrow buttons.

Yellow Stage Programming

Set the time for the third stage (YELLOW LED) using arrow buttons.

Exiting Program Mode

Momentarily press the PRINCE CASTLE logo to save changes.

Adjusting Alarm Sound Level

Adjust alarm volume in RUN MODE using logo and arrow buttons.

Operation

Activating Timing Cycles

Press a channel button to start a timing cycle for channels 1-7.

Alarm and Stage Indication

Alarm beeps, LED flutters, and display resets to the next stage.

End of Cycle

Display shows 'END', LED flashes red, alarm beeps until cancelled.

Cancelling Active Cycle

Press and hold the channel button for five seconds to cancel.

Accelerate Channel 8

Accelerator Mode 1

Sets a 2.5-hour timer with red LED, flashing green and two-tone alarm.

Accelerator Mode 2

Sets a 4-hour timer with red LED, yellow/green flashing and countdown.

Selecting Accelerator Modes

Use button (8) for Mode 1, UP BUTTON within 3s for Mode 2.

Cleaning

Daily Cleaning

Wipe timer daily with a clean damp cloth, avoid grease buildup.

Important Cleaning Note

Do not use abrasive or chemical cleaners to avoid overlay damage.

Troubleshooting Guide

No Displays or Indicators Lit

Check power, breaker, transformer, or main circuit board.

Absence of Audio Alarm

Check speaker and main circuit board for operability.

Unit Will Not Enter Program Mode

Ensure channels are not counting; check logo switch or circuit board.

Cannot Change Times in Program Mode

Wait for channels to stop, check arrow switch or main circuit board.

Unable to Start/Stop/Store Presets

Check circuit operability, switch panel, or main circuit board.
