Also, ensure there's a good ground connection by cleaning the area between the jack mounting plate and coupler, making sure paint has been removed by the star washers for direct metal-to-metal contact. Check the wires on the ON/OFF switch and secure them if they are loose. Wait 15 seconds to allow the internal circuit breaker to close. If the issue persists, the ON/OFF switch or the motor itself may be faulty and require replacement.
