Fast cooking
Using the “quick cook” function you can begin
cooking immediately with no need to make
additional adjustments. With fast cooking,
food is cooked for 30 seconds at maximum
power.
• Press the “Start/+30sec./Confirm” but-
ton (18).
The cooking process will start; the remain-
ing cooking time will count down on the
display (14) and the indicator will flash.
Extending the cooking time
You can extend the cooking time in 30-sec-
ond increments while cooking in many cook-
ing programmes.
Exception: This is not possible with the follow-
ing programmes:
– Automatic programmes
– The programme “Defrosting by weight” (
d-1
)
– Multistage cooking
To extend the cooking time,
– press the “Start/+30sec./Confirm” but-
ton (18) during the cooking process.
The remaining cooking time is extended by
30 seconds.
The cooking time extension can be repeat-
ed several times if necessary.
Setting the power level
As standard, the microwave is set to power
level
P100
; that is, to 100 % microwave pow-
er. To change the power level,
1. Press the “Microwave” button (9).
P100
will appear on the display (14).
2. Press the “Microwave” button (9) once
again. The display changes to
P80
.
The following table shows which power levels
are available and how you can select them:

Setting the cooking time
You can only set a cooking time if you have
previously selected a function
– “Microwave” (Display – indicator )
– “Grill/Combi” (Display – indicator )
– “Convection” (Display – indicator )

To set the cooking time,
– select the required function (
, or ),
– turn the adjustment dial (19) until the de-
sired cooking time is set.
The cooking time can be set with the follow-
ing steps:
0–1 min: 5 seconds
1–5 min: 10 seconds
5–10 min: 30 seconds
10–30 min: 1 minute
30–95 min: 5 minutes
