Multistage cooking
You can set two different cooking levels – e.g.
when you first wish to defrost a dish at a high
power and then finish the cooking at a lower
power.
For multistage cooking, you cannot se-
lect an automatic programme or a pre-
heating function.
Example: You want to initially defrost a dish
that you had frozen for 10 minutes, and then
complete the cooking in 15 minutes with 80 %
microwave power.
1. Press the “Defrost by weight/time” but-
ton (12) twice.

2. Turn the adjustment dial (19) until the in-
dicator

appears on the display (14).
3. Press the “Microwave” button (9).
On the display (14), the indicator
P100

the indicator will appear.
4. Press the “Microwave” (9) button once
again.
5. The flashing display indicator changes to
P80
.
6. Press the “Start/+30sec./Confirm” but-
ton (18).

7. Turn the adjustment dial (19) until the in-
dicator
15:00
appears on the display (14).
8. Press the “Start/+30sec./Confirm” but-
ton (18).
The programme begins. The required de-
frosting time is counted down in the dis-
play (14). The indicators
and flash.
When the defrosting time has elapsed and
the cooking time begins, a short signal tone
will sound.
Once the cooking time has elapsed, five
beeps will sound.
You can extend the defrosting time and
cooking time as described in section
“Extending the cooking time” on page EN-20.
