Care and maintenance
WARNING
Health hazard!
■ Clean the appliance regularly and re-
move any existing leftover food im-
mediately.
■ Cleaning and user maintenance must
not be carried out by children unless
they are supervised.
Risk of burns!
The housing becomes hot during opera-
tion, especially in the area of the vents.
The containers can also get very hot
due to the foods. After grill mode, con-
vection or multi-function mode, the grill
(on the cooking compartment ceiling)
is very hot.
■ Allow the device to completely cool
down before cleaning.
Risk of electric shock!
■ Isolate the fuse and pull out the
mains plug before cleaning. Always
take hold of the plug itself, do not pull
on the mains cord.
■ Make sure that no cleaning water or
other liquids penetrate into the ven-
tilation slots and into the electrical
parts.
■ Do not use a steam or high-pressure
cleaner. Steam could get into live
components through cracks.
NOTICE
The surfaces and door seals can get
damaged by improper handling.
■ Never use harsh, soda, acid, solvent or
abrasive cleaners. All-purpose clean-
ers with a neutral pH are recommend-
ed.
■ Use care products only on the outer
surfaces.
■ The door seals are sensitive to oil and
grease – making the rubber porous
and brittle.
■ Only use soft cloths.
If possible, clean the appliance after each use
before any contamination can dry.
• It is best to clean the rotisserie rack by
hand with a mild detergent.
• Clean the rotary plate in the dishwasher.
• Clean the microwave, especially the
cooking compartment floor and the door
sealing surfaces, with a damp, soft cloth.
To do this, use warm water with a normal
all-purpose cleaner or dishwasher liquid
and a soft sponge and rag.
• Dissolve stubborn dirt with an undiluted
all-purpose cleaner.
• Wipe off all surfaces after cleaning with a
dry, soft cloth.
• Leave the cooking compartment door
open so that the oven can completely dry
out.
WARNING
Risk due to microwaves!
A door that fails to close adequately
can cause microwave radiation to leak
out. The appliance must not be used in
such a case.
■ Pay particular attention to the clean-
liness of the door seals and the door
