Overview

The PRO-700 Flashlight is a high-intensity, multi-mode tactical flashlight designed for various illumination needs. It boasts an extremely bright 700 lumen output, making it suitable for a wide range of applications where powerful and focused light is required. The flashlight is recommended for individuals aged 14 and above.

Function Description:

The primary function of the PRO-700 is to provide illumination through its high-intensity LED beam. It offers five distinct power settings, allowing users to select the appropriate light output for their specific situation. These settings include:

  • High Power Light: For maximum brightness and range.
  • Medium Power Light: A balanced setting for general use.
  • Low Power Light: For extended battery life or situations requiring less intense light.
  • Strobe Flashing Light: A disorienting flash, often used for signaling or self-defense.
  • S.O.S. (Save Our Souls): A standardized international Morse code distress signal, useful in emergency situations.

The flashlight features an "Auto Memory" function, which automatically remembers the last mode setting used, ensuring convenience for recurring tasks.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Lumen Output: 700 lumens (extremely bright).
  • Battery Type: Requires 6 AAA Alkaline Batteries. Fresh alkaline batteries are strongly recommended, and users are advised not to mix old and new, or different types of batteries.
  • Battery Installation: Batteries are inserted into a battery pack, which then goes into the flashlight with the positive (+) end facing the head of the flashlight. The tail cap is then screwed on.
  • Age Recommendation: 14+ ages.

Usage Features:

  • Zoom In/Out Functionality: The PRO-700 offers adjustable focus for different lighting needs:
    • Zoom In: To achieve a long, narrow, focused light beam, the flashlight head is pushed to the front end of the flashlight.
    • Zoom Out: For a broader light beam, the flashlight head is pushed toward the back end of the flashlight.
  • Metal Belt Clip: A durable metal belt clip is mounted on the side of the flashlight, providing convenient portability and quick access.
  • Ergonomic Design: The flashlight appears to have a robust and tactical design, suitable for demanding environments.

Maintenance Features:

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of the PRO-700 Flashlight:

  • Battery Storage: When not in use for 90 days or longer, batteries should be removed and stored separately.
  • Cleaning: The flashlight should be cleaned with a clean, dry cloth as needed to remove dirt and debris.
  • Lubrication: Screw threads and moving parts can be lubricated with a standard consumer lubricant as needed to ensure smooth operation and prevent wear.

Warnings:

  • High Intensity Beam: Due to its extremely bright 700 lumen output, users should not look directly into the light, as it may cause vision damage.
  • Intended Use: The flashlight should be used for its intended purpose of providing illumination only.
  • Battery Disposal: Users must follow City Ordinance Guidelines for proper disposal of dry cell batteries.
  • Child Safety: The flashlight should be kept out of reach of children.
  • California Proposition 65 Warning: This product may expose users to chemicals, including benzene and ethylbenzene, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer. More information is available at www.p65Warnings.ca.gov.

Troubleshooting:

If the flashlight does not turn on, works intermittently, or has a weak light, the following steps are recommended:

  • Battery Check: Remove and replace batteries. Ensure the tail cap is screwed on tightly and batteries are inserted properly into the battery pack.
  • Battery Pack Insertion: Verify that the battery pack itself is properly inserted into the flashlight.
  • Technical Support: If problems persist, users should contact Pro-4 Tactical for technical advice.
