ASSEMBLY
Before you start working, make sure that all parts are mounted correctly.
Mounting handles (Pic. 3)
Place the handles with engine speed control lever and STOP button into
the metal bracket. Make sure your hands and wrists are slightly bent in the
normal working position. Secure the 4 screws in the correct position of the
steering wheel. Make sure all 4 screws are tight.
Mounting the protective cover (Pic. 4)
This protective cover must be secured to the transmission support with two
screws. Secure it with a screw in the center of the bottom of the bracket,
put it on the top of the bracket and attach with the second screw.
Strap
The attached strap has a lining to protect the lower back. It should be worn
so that the protection of the lower back was on the right side.
Balancing the tool
Before you begin, you must adjust the strap to ensure that the tool is
balanced: put on the strap and hang the brushcutter.
◊ Adjust the position of the clamping device on the rod so that you
have a perfectly balanced back and front of the tool.
◊ If you use a cutting device with a nylon string, you must adjust the
strap so that the distance between the ground and the nylon string
is between 0 and 300 mm. - If you use a three-fluted knife, you must
adjust the strap so that the distance from the ground to the knife is
between 100 and 300 mm.
Types of cutting device
Safe and economical operation requires the use of an appropriate type of
cutting device.
The three-fluted knife and nylon string head supplied with the tool are
designed for most applications. Use original spare parts only, as they are
specified by the manufacturer specifically for your model.
Never use steel wire or other materials.
Mounting of the head with the nylon string (Pic. 5)
Screw the head with the central screw and properly tighten it.
Insert the bolt in 2 wholes (one in the steel protective cover, another in
the retainer nut).
Make sure that the head with the nylon string completely and securely
fasten.
Mounting of the three-fluted knife
Place the three-fluted knife on the centering washer (letters up).
Place a large washer on top that will hold the knife.
Screw in the center screw with the bottom lens and tighten it appropriately.
Clip moment: 30 Nm.
Make sure the knife is completely and securely fastened.
Make sure all parts of the cutting device are securely fastened as described
above.
IF THE KNIFE IS MOUNTED INCORRECTLY, IT CAN
LEAD TO SERIOUS DAMAGE AND INJURY.
Never use nylon strings or knives other than those supplied by the
manufacturer. Always use the cutting device in perfect condition, without
deformation, dents, deformed or broken teeth, which can lead to the
destruction of the cutting device.
At high rpm, at high speeds, a variety of items can fly off that can seriously
injure people or damage property.
The manufacturer is not responsible in case of improper use of the tool.
Model 357GBC-S is equipped with 11 detachable bar, in order to assemble
it insert the opposite parts until you hear the snap, and tighten the fastener
12 (Pic.1).
BEFORE YOU START WORKING
Before you start, make sure that the cutting device is perfectly assembled,
secured and properly centered.
Make sure all bolts and nuts are completely tightened. Also, make sure that
a protective cover is also mounted. If possible, clean the work surface and
rid it of objects such as nails, metal wire, stones, glass fragments that may
fly off or catch on the cutting device.
Do not run the tool indoors or in buildings. Inhalation of exhaust gases can
cause serious intoxication.
If you mow dirty grass, be very careful, as flying of cut grass and pieces of
plants can lead to intoxication. Use suitable protective equipment.
THE ENGINE PREPARATION
Fuel mixture: only 1: 25
Use pure unleaded gasoline with an octane number of 95 and 100%
synthetic oil, designed specifically for two-stroke engines of high
performance, prepare a mixture of 25 parts of gasoline and 1 part of the oil.
Through the use of synthetic oil specifically designed for two-stroke
engines, carbon deposits on the spark plugs, piston, muffler and cylinder,
as well as exhaust emissions are reduced. This will provide the perfect
lubrication to guarantee a long service life of the engine.
It is very important that you use only pure gasoline of good quality and
branded oil. The mixture of gasoline and oil should be used for three weeks
after you have prepared it.
It is absolutely necessary to prepare a mixture of gasoline and oil before
pouring into the fuel tank. You get the right mix by pouring oil into a can of
gasoline in the right ratio. This should be done outdoors, with the engine off
and outside any sources of flame or sparks, you should not smoke or use
the phone. Shake the mixture in the canister and the fuel tank prior to use.
Then you can continue to pour the mixture into the fuel tank — unscrew
the tank cap and pour the mixture of gasoline and oil through a funnel,
trying not to spray the mixture around you and not to soil the clothes. If this
happens, wipe the contaminated areas with a clean cloth.
Start the engine at a distance of at least three meters from where you have
filled the fuel tank to prevent the risk of fire.
Never pour the fuel mixture into the tank if the engine is hot.
Engine start
To start the engine, follow these steps:
1. After carefully and consistently performing all steps of preparation
and filling of the fuel mixture, press the red button on the right
handle.
2. Press the petrol pump under the carburetor four or five times to
distribute the fuel mixture from the fuel tank to all parts of the fuel
line.
3. Move the starter lever to this position <<IN>>.
4. Hold the brushcutter with your left hand (make sure the tool is well
balanced and the handles are in the correct position for you) and
slowly pull the starter cord handle with your right hand so that the
latches fall on the flywheel.
5. Strongly pull the starter cord handle 4 or 5 times until the motor
starts; after pressing the throttle lever, the red button will return to
the starting position <<OFF>>.
6. After starting the engine, release the starter lever to this position
<<III>>.
7. Never pull the starter to its full length to prevent damage.
8. If the engine does not start, it may be the fault of the wet plug. In
this case, unscrew the candle, clean and wipe it, pull the starter
several times (without the plug) to clean and release the air from the
combustion chamber.
README:
If the engine is warm, all these operations are unnecessary, just pull the
starter to start the engine.
At idle, the cutting device must not rotate.
Trial run
During the first ten hours of operation, allow the engine to run only at
medium speed. We recommend that you do not use the full power of the
engine, as it is necessary that the engine and individual parts get used.
After this trial run, the engine reaches maximum power.
After the first two hours, take a break and make sure all bolts and nuts are
tight; tighten if necessary.
THE USE OF THE BRUSHCUTTER
What protective means should be used with separate cutter bars?
The protective cover is two-color (the main part can be any color, but the
small holder is always black).
1. If you want to use the head with a nylon string
It is necessary to use a protective cover, both of its parts (the main
part of any color + a small black bracket)
2. If you want to use a three-fluted knife
You should remove the small black bracket (with a screwdriver) and
use only the main part of the protective cover.
