Before operating the unit, please check that all contents have been
delivered and that the line voltage is correct. The voltage selector
switch must be in the 220 V (K1) position when the line voltage is
220 V and connected to a properly installed wall socket, and in the
110 V (K2) position when the line voltage is 110 V.
• The Promed 2520 unit, in combination with the grinding heads
designed for this unit, is ideal for manicures, pedicures, and
mobile pedicure services, as well as for nail techniques (nail
design) in particular.
• The Promed 2520 unit uses a high performance motor with
airflow cooling. The electronic speed control is used to smoothly
set the speed of the grinding head up to 20,000 rpm. The unit can
rotate clockwise and counter-clockwise (reversible).
• The connector for the file attachments is compatible with
all commercially available attachments with a shaft of the
standard sizes 2,32 mm to 2,35 mm. To ensure that the
connector has as long a life as possible, please use only high-
quality attachments with a rounded shaft end and a maximum
shaft length of 36 mm! When putting down the hand unit, make
sure that the file attachment does not come into contact with its
surroundings, otherwise there is a danger that the shaft may
be compressed/twisted. An out-of-balance attachment will
cause damage to your hand unit!
• File and sanding attachments are available from your local
specialist dealer or from Promed directly.
• To ensure hygienic operation, the grinding heads must be
disinfected after use.
• The handpiece may only be disinfected using disinfectant
wipes.
Information about suitable disinfectants and products can be
obtained from Promed.
