The PRORECK CLUB 3000 is a portable speaker system designed for various audio applications, offering a blend of power, versatility, and user-friendly features. This system is ideal for events, performances, or any setting requiring robust sound reinforcement.
The CLUB 3000 system comprises two 4x4-inch array speakers, one 12-inch active subwoofer with a built-in 3000-watt amplifier, and one 12-inch passive subwoofer. This configuration is engineered to deliver a full-range audio experience, with the array speakers handling mid and high frequencies, and the subwoofers providing deep, impactful bass.
At the heart of the system is the active subwoofer, which houses a powerful 3000-watt amplifier. This amplifier is equipped with a 4-channel mixer, allowing for multiple audio sources to be connected simultaneously. Channels 1 and 2 are designed for microphone or line-level inputs, accommodating XLR connections for balanced and unbalanced signals. Channels 3 and 4 are stereo line inputs, suitable for connecting music devices via 1/4" TS jacks or RCA cables.
A key feature of the CLUB 3000 is its integrated digital media player. This player supports USB and SD card inputs, enabling direct playback of MP3 files. Additionally, it boasts Bluetooth functionality, allowing users to wirelessly stream audio from compatible devices such as smartphones, tablets, and computers. This provides immense flexibility for music playback without the need for additional external players.
The system also includes a 5-band graphic equalizer, offering precise control over the music tone. Users can boost or cut frequencies at 100Hz, 330Hz, 1kHz, 3.3kHz, and 10kHz by +/-12dB, allowing for sound customization to suit different environments or musical genres.
Setting up the CLUB 3000 is designed to be straightforward. Users should begin by ensuring all volume knobs are turned down to their minimum level and all EQ knobs (Treble, Bass, Effect, Depth) and graphic EQ sliders are at their center detent. All buttons should be in the "out" position initially.
For microphone or line-level inputs (Channels 1 & 2), users can connect their equipment via XLR cables. The MP3/Line in selector (21) should be in the "out" position for line-in mode or pressed "in" for mic-in mode. Channel volume controls (16) and the master volume (4) should then be adjusted to a suitable listening level.
For stereo line inputs (Channels 3 & 4), music devices can be connected via 1/4" or RCA jacks. The MP3/Line in selector (21) should be pressed "in" for this mode. The master volume (4) and MP3/line in volume (22) are used to control the overall level.
The digital media player offers multiple playback options. For USB/SD card playback, users simply insert their storage device into the respective port. The LCD screen (c) helps navigate between modes and folders. The PLAY/PAUSE button (d) controls playback, while the REPEAT button (e) allows selection of various repeat modes (Repeat all, Repeat one, Random, Folder Repeat all). The NEXT (f) and PREVIOUS (g) buttons allow track navigation, with press-and-hold functionality for volume adjustment.
Bluetooth connectivity is initiated by pressing the MODE button (h) until "BLUE" appears on the LCD display. Once "BLUE" stops flashing, it indicates a successful connection with a Bluetooth device. The master volume (4) and MP3/line in volume (22) are used to control the audio level.
The system includes a master volume (4) for overall sound level control and a subwoofer volume (5) to adjust the bass output independently. A frequency switch (6) allows users to select between 45Hz and 63Hz for the subwoofer's low-frequency cutoff, providing flexibility in bass response.
Echo effects can be applied to channels using the DEPTH (3) control and channel effect controls (17). The DEPTH control sets the general echo effect, and individual channel effect controls adjust the amount of effect for each channel.
The CLUB 3000 also features speaker outputs (12) for connecting the array speakers and a speakon output (9) for the passive subwoofer, ensuring proper system integration. The 115V/230V AC selector (13) allows the system to be operated in different power environments, making it suitable for international use.
A remote control is provided for convenient operation of the digital media player. It allows users to access folders, switch between USB/SD and Bluetooth modes, navigate songs, control volume, select from 5 preset EQs (POP, ROCK, JAZZ, CLASSIC, COUNTRY), and directly select songs using number buttons.
To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of the CLUB 3000, several maintenance guidelines should be followed.
Firstly, it is crucial to read and retain the user manual for future reference, as improper use can lead to damage. The unit should not be exposed to rain or moisture, and ventilation openings should not be blocked to prevent overheating. Installation near heat sources like radiators or stoves should be avoided.
Cleaning should be done with a dry cloth only. During lightning storms or extended periods of disuse, the unit should be unplugged from the power source.
Servicing should only be performed by qualified personnel, especially if the unit has sustained damage to the power cord, plug, or if liquid or objects have entered the unit, or if it has been exposed to moisture or operates abnormally.
The unit should not be exposed to dripping or splashing liquids, and no liquid-filled objects, such as vases or beer glasses, should be placed on it. Overloading wall outlets and extension cords should be avoided to prevent fire or electric shock.
A "WARNING" label indicates a risk of electric shock, and users are advised not to open the cover or back of the unit.
For power management, the main power switch (10) controls the AC power to the system. It is recommended to keep this switch OFF when the system is not in use for extended periods. Before connecting the subwoofer to a power source, users must ensure the 115V/230V AC selector (13) is set to the correct voltage to prevent damage and ensure safety. The manufacturer's warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper voltage use.
The master volume indicator (2) provides visual feedback on the volume level. If the red indicators light up, it signifies that the subwoofer is overloading, and the master volume should be reduced to prevent damage.
By adhering to these guidelines, users can ensure the safe and reliable operation of their PRORECK CLUB 3000 speaker system.
