This document describes the PROSHADE 3.36 M / 11 FT ALUMINUM LED MARKET UMBRELLA WITH TILT, an outdoor domestic use item. It is not intended for commercial use.

Function Description:

The Proshade umbrella provides shade and features integrated LED lighting. It includes a tilt function for adjustable positioning and can be opened and closed manually. The LED lights are powered by a solar panel with rechargeable lithium batteries, or via an AC adapter.

Usage Features:

Assembly:

1. Finial and Solar Panel Connection: Remove the cap from the Finial (B). Connect the Finial (B) to the solar panel (A). Attach this assembly to the umbrella. Retain the cap for future use.
2. Umbrella Base: Securely fasten the umbrella into an umbrella base (base not included).

Opening the Umbrella:

1. Gently pull apart and separate the ribs into their natural open position.
2. Pull down the rope until the lower or upper hole on the tilt mechanism is visible.
3. Insert the pin into the hole to secure the umbrella in its fully open position.

Tilting the Umbrella:

1. Ensure the umbrella pole is firmly fixed with its base.
2. Rotate the canopy clockwise or counterclockwise to achieve the desired tilted position.
3. Continue rotating the canopy to return the umbrella to its upright position.

Using LED Lights:

• For everyday use, turn the light switch on at night to activate the solar light.
• Turn off the switch after use.

Charging the Batteries:

• Via Solar Panel: Press the switch to the "off" position during daylight hours. Charging time depends on sunlight, with at least 8 hours recommended. Ensure LED lights are off for the solar panel to recharge the battery.
• Via AC Adapter: Remove the cap on the charging port. Connect the end of the AC adapter to the charging port and screw together. Charging time is approximately 5-6 hours. The AC adapter can be used both indoors and outdoors; if used outdoors, the outdoor plug needs to be covered to prevent water entry.

Closing the Umbrella:

1. Hold the rope firmly and remove the pin.
2. Slowly release the rope until the umbrella is fully closed.
3. Use the tie straps to secure the umbrella canopy.

Important Usage Notes:

• First Use: It is crucial to charge the battery before first use. Batteries can discharge if left unused or uncharged for extended periods, leading to premature dimming of the lights.
• Finial (B): Do not attempt to open the Finial (B) when in use. Do not use the umbrella without the Finial (B) properly installed. If batteries malfunction, contact customer service to replace the entire finial; do not attempt to replace the batteries yourself.
• Windy Conditions: The umbrella should be lowered and secured in windy conditions or when not in use.
• Heat Sources: Do not leave open flames or unattended heat sources underneath the umbrella.
• Children: Do not allow children to remain unattended near the cords that raise the umbrella. Secure the cords underneath the umbrella (refer to page 3 "TO OPEN THE UMBRELLA") to prevent fire and strangulation hazards.
• Shipping Compression: Umbrella ribs may compress during shipping. Read instructions before use to avoid permanent damage.
• Storage: If storing the umbrella in a box when not in use, remove the solar panel and finial prior to storage to prevent damage.

Maintenance Features:

Cleaning:

• Wash the umbrella canopy with a mild solution of soap and water.
• Rinse thoroughly and drip-dry in an open position.
• Do not use bleach or solvents on the fabric or aluminum frame.

General Maintenance:

• Keep the umbrella closed when not in use.
• Not recommended for use in patio tables. If used in a patio table, always use with an umbrella base and lower the umbrella in windy conditions.

Warranty Information:

• Manufacturer's Warranty: A two-year warranty covers defects in original materials and workmanship for the 3.36m / 11ft Aluminum LED Market Umbrella with Tilt.
• Frame Warranty: Two years against defects in materials and workmanship. Damage from improper assembly, exposure to water, and sub-freezing temperatures is not covered.
• Finish Warranty: Two years against peeling, cracking, or blistering, provided the unit has not been scratched or abraded. Scratches and chips from abnormal wear and fading from exposure to elements are not covered.
• Fabric Warranty: Two years against separation at seams. Fading or discoloration from exposure to elements, chemicals, or spills is not covered.
• Exclusions: This warranty DOES NOT COVER:
  • Failure due to unreasonable or abusive use.
  • Failure due to neglect of reasonable and necessary care.
  • Acts of nature (including wind, hurricanes, tornadoes, and storms).
• The product is not covered by this warranty after two years from the date of purchase.
