Tips on how to maintain your Proton Turbo Engine
1. Maintain regular service intervals as per the recommend-
ation in the service booklet.
2. Use only high quality engine oil specified by PROTON
3. Do not rev the engine or accelerate past half throttle
immediately after start up. High rpm with a cold engine
may damage the turbocharger.
4. After driving on the highway or high-load driving, allow
the engine to cool down by leaving it idle for at least 30
seconds before turning off the ignition.
WARNING
Do not add any additives into the fuel and engine oil.
Additives cause the engine oil to become more viscous
and creates sludge. Sludge can clog the oil feed line to
the Turbo system.
Failure to strictly adhere to periodic service intervals may
damage the Turbo system.

1. Sentiasa mematuhi jadual penyelenggaraan seperti yang
disyorkan di dalam buku servis.
2. Hanya gunakan minyak enjin berkualiti tinggi yang
ditetapkan oleh PROTON
3. Jangan menekan injak memecut lebih daripada separuh
‘throttle’ selepas enjin dihidupkan. RPM yang tinggi
dengan enjin yang belum panas boleh merosakkan
pengecas turbo.
4. Selepas memandu di lebuh raya atau pemanduan lasak,
biarkan enjin hidup sebentar dalam tempoh 30 saat se-
belum enjin dimatikan.
AMARAN
Dilarang menambah sebarang bahan tambahan kepada
bahan api dan minyak enjin.
Bahan tambahan ini boleh menyebabkan minyak enjin
menjadi lebih likat dan membentuk pepejal yang boleh
menyekat pengaliran minyak ke sistem turbo.
Kegagalan untuk mengikut servis berjadual yang telah
ditetapkan boleh mengakibatkan kerosakan pada sistem
turbo.
