With the help of the LED-display, you may identify which type of error has occurred:
Charger is repairing the battery
1. No connection to battery
terminal
2. Short circuit in connection
3. Reversed polarity
Check all connections and reconnect the
clamps before restarting the charging
process
A clamp has come off during
charging. Charger will beep alarm
in 25 seconds and output will turn
off.
Check connections an reactivate the
charging process
Battery voltage is too high
Check if a unsuitable battery has been
connected and the correct charging voltage
is selected
Leakage voltage detected. The
battery may have a internal short
circuit between cells
Check all settings and try again to charge the
battery. If the same fault occurs again, the
battery is probably defect and has to be
replaced.
Internal temperature of the
charger is too high.
Let the device cool down. Check if the the
cooling fan works properly.
The connected battery is fully
charged. The charger will maintain
the battery in a full charged state
until the battery is disconnected
or the charger is turned off.
In a few cases , the charging process will finish very quickly, but the battery is not fully charged or does
not deliver the desired voltage or power. The reason for this case could be that the battery is broken
and needs to be replaced. If the device doesn’t work at all, an internal fuse might be blown. This happens
always for a reason. Do not try to replace internal fuses yourself. The device has to be checked by the
manufacturer or by an authorized service.
