What to do if my PSG Wilden P200 Water Pump runs but little or no product flows?
    • M
      Matthew WilsonAug 11, 2025
If your PSG Water Pump is running, but little to no product is flowing, first check for pump cavitation. If cavitation is the issue, slow the pump speed down to allow the thick material to flow into liquid chambers. Also, verify that the vacuum required to lift liquid is not greater than the vapor pressure of the material being pumped (cavitation). Finally, inspect the ball check valves for sticking, which can occur if the material being pumped is incompatible with the pump elastomers, causing swelling. Replace the ball check valves and seals with proper elastomers. Note that valve balls may become stuck in the seats as they wear and become smaller, so replace the balls and seats in this case.

Why are there air bubbles in the PSG Wilden P200 Water Pump discharge?
    • J
      Jessica RandolphAug 17, 2025
If you observe air bubbles in the discharge of your PSG Water Pump, start by checking for a ruptured diaphragm. Next, ensure the outer pistons are properly tightened. Following this, verify the torque of bolts and the integrity of O-rings and seals, paying special attention to the intake manifold. Finally, make sure all pipe connections are airtight.

What to do if product comes out of the air exhaust of my PSG Wilden P200 Water Pump?
    • L
      Lauren DavisAug 30, 2025
If product is coming out of the air exhaust of your PSG Water Pump, examine the pump for a diaphragm rupture. Additionally, check the tightness of the outer pistons to the shaft.

Why does the PSG Wilden P200 Water Pump air valve freeze?
    • V
      Victor BennettSep 4, 2025
If the air valve of your PSG Water Pump freezes, it may be due to excessive moisture in the compressed air. To address this, install a dryer or hot air generator for the compressed air. Alternatively, in some applications, a coalescing filter may be used to remove the water from the compressed air.

How to troubleshoot a PSG Water Pump that will not run or runs slowly?
    • H
      Heather PerezNov 22, 2025
If your PSG Water Pump will not run or runs slowly, ensure that the air inlet pressure is at least 0.35 bar (5 psig) above startup pressure and that the differential pressure (the difference between air inlet and liquid discharge pressures) is not less than 0.7 bar (10 psig). Check the air inlet filter for debris. Inspect for extreme air leakage (blow by) that would indicate worn seals/bores in the air valve, pilot spool, main shaft. Disassemble the pump and check for obstructions in the air passageways or objects that would obstruct the movement of internal parts. Check for sticking ball check valves, replacing them and seals with proper elastomers if swelling has occurred due to incompatibility with the material being pumped; also replace balls and seats if valve balls have become worn a...
