6.5. Battery Backed RAM
The receiver module includes a rechargeable battery for the on-board
battery-backed RAM. Life expectancy of the battery is dependent upon
operational conditions, but typically will be between 10 to 15 years.
CAUTION: RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS REPLACED BY AN INCORRECT
TYPE. USE ONLY SEIKO RECHARGEABLE BATTERY TYPE MS621FE, 3V, 5.5mAh.
DISPOSE OF USED BATTERIES ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS.
For battery disposal please return it to Precise Time and Frequency, Inc.
and we will dispose of it correctly free of charge.
