Overview

The PTZOptics Webcam (Model No: PT-WEBCAM-80) is a broadcast-quality webcam designed for various video conferencing and streaming applications. It offers high-definition video, clear audio, and a range of features to ensure optimal performance in different lighting environments.

Function Description:

The PTZOptics Webcam serves as a plug-and-play USB 2.0 video and audio device, compatible with both Mac and PC systems. Its primary function is to capture and transmit high-quality video and audio for communication and content creation. The camera supports resolutions up to 1080p at 30/25 frames per second (fps) and features a wide 80° field of view, making it suitable for capturing multiple participants or a broader scene. An integrated microphone array with a unique noise reduction algorithm ensures clear voice pickup up to 15 feet away, enhancing audio quality in various settings. The camera also incorporates Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology to deliver high-quality video even in challenging lighting conditions. For enhanced image clarity in low-light environments, it utilizes a star-level CMOS sensor and a 2D/3D noise reduction algorithm, achieving an ultra-high Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) of 55dB. Additionally, the webcam supports Electronic Pan/Tilt/Zoom (EPTZ) up to 8x, allowing users to digitally adjust the camera's view without physical movement.
