ered by warranty are internal or external finishes,
electric cords, wheels or casters, and certain per-
ishable items, unless otherwise noted to be defec-
tive at time of original purchase by the original
user-purchaser. Further, this warranty is null and
void should any covered part be installed by other
than the manufacturer’s factory or authorized ser-
vice center, or should claims against the warranty
be the result of product misuse, abuse, or any man-
ner of damage not deemed by the manufacturer or
its authorized service center to be normal wear and
tear.

This vacuum cleaner is guaranteed against
defects in workmanship or materials for a period of
90 days from the date of purchase. In addition, the
motor is guaranteed against defects in workman-
ship or materials for a period of one, two or three
years, depending upon model. This guarantee is
valid only to the original user-purchaser, and
applicable only if the user-purchaser registers this
vacuum by completing and returning the vacuum
warranty card to the manufacturer. Under this war-
ranty, the manufacturer agrees to repair or replace
parts which have become defective within the war-
ranty period, provided the vacuum is delivered or
