PROBLEM
Smartphone or tablet PC
cannot be connected to the
riflescope.
Poor image quality.
Image is over-exposed.
There are several light or black
dots (pixels) on riflescope's
display or sensor.
The built-in IR is not
functioning.
Barely visible texture which
does not hinder detection
range or efficiency of
observation can be noticed on
the display after the extra
laser IR Illuminator (AL915) is
activated.
During operation, the
riflescope is getting hot in the
area of the IR Illuminator.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
There are too many Wi-Fi
networks in the area where the
riflescope is located which
may cause signal interference.
СORRECTIVE ACTION
To ensure stable Wi-Fi
performance, move the
riflescope to an area with few
or no Wi-Fi networks.
Problems described may arise in adverse weather conditions
(snow, rain, fog etc.).
Use the riflescope with a closed lens cover.
Presence of dots is caused by peculiarities of sensor or display
production technology and is not a defect.
Examine and clean the contacts in the riflescope and the IR
Illuminator. Check that the contacts are not blocked.
This effect is due to the peculiarity of operation of IR
Illuminators and it's not a defect.
Service life of the riflescope is 5 years.
The metal part in the
riflescope's body is a heat sink
designed to withdraw heat
from the electronic
components during
riflescope's operation. This
ensures optimum temperature
range for the electronic
components.
Warm heat sink is normal and
is not a defect.
