This manual describes the Pulse PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) technology, which includes various machines and accessories designed for both human and equine use. The core function of Pulse PEMF technology is to provide full-spectrum mineral and nutrient supplementation, enriched with fulvic and humic acids, to support cellular health and detoxification.
Function Description:
Pulse PEMF machines generate pulsed electromagnetic fields to interact with the body at a cellular level. This technology is intended to support cellular membrane permeability and nutrient absorption, aiding in the removal of inorganic toxic substances from cells. The PulseFuel supplement, when used in conjunction with PEMF, helps bind to these cellular toxins, facilitating their natural removal by the body. The system is designed to enhance hydration, boost the immune system, increase energy levels, improve nutrient absorption, support digestion, and promote detoxification.
Important Technical Specifications:
The Pulse PEMF product line includes several models: Pulse XL Pro, Pulse X1, Pulse EQ-X, Pulse EQ-X1, and Pulse EQ-XX.
- Pulse XL Pro: Operates on both 110V and 277V at 50-60 Hz, requiring up to 4 amps.
- Pulse X1 and EQ-X1: Can be 110V or custom-built to 277V at 50-60 Hz, requiring up to 4 amps.
- Pulse EQ-XX: Operates on 110V at 60 Hz only, requiring up to 4 amps.
- Pulse X and EQ-X: Operate on 110V at 60 Hz only, requiring up to 2 amps.
For international power conversion, a step-down converter is required. For Pulse X or Pulse EQ-X, a 500W converter (220/277V to 110/120V Pure sine output) is recommended. For Pulse EQ-XX, a 1000W converter (220/277V to 110/120V Pure sine output) is needed. All machines should be plugged into a surge protector rated for 15 amps, 125 volts, and a minimum of 900 joules to protect against electrical surges.
Certain Pulse machines (Pulse X, Pulse X1, and all Pulse Equine machines) feature a next-generation spark gap controlled by an intensity knob. This knob has a "SOFT STOP" to prevent internal part failure from excessive force.
Usage Features:
The Pulse PEMF system is designed for ease of use, with a quick start guide and extensive training resources available.
- Orientation: Users are encouraged to connect with Product Specialists for a Pulse Orientation session, available via calendly.com or by phone.
- Online Training: Comprehensive online training is provided through PulseCertified.com, covering topics such as Pulse Centers technology, magnetic field direction, whole-body approach, Pulse Focused Language, setting user expectations, and PEMF positions for humans. Equine training includes best practices, anatomy and biomechanics, session flow, accessory selection, PEMF science, and mitigating detox effects.
- Bluetooth Connectivity: Machines rented or financed through Pulse Manufactured Financing include a Bluetooth feature that requires monthly syncing (around the 15th of each month) via the "Pulse Connections App." This app is available for Android and iPhones. To sync, the machine must be plugged into a working outlet, Bluetooth must be activated on the phone, and a strong WiFi or cellular data signal is required. The app allows users to create an account, sign in, and perform device synchronization. Troubleshooting steps are provided for common error messages related to email, password, and device association.
- PulseFuel Supplement: PulseFuel is available in 2 oz. trial size and 32 oz. full size. The recommended dosage is ½ ounce with 8-10 ounces of liquid twice daily. It contains trace minerals, a superfood complex, prebiotic complex, digestive sport blend, detox support complex, joint and energy complex, amino acid complex, and omega fatty acid blend. PulseFuel is for human consumption and is only available domestically within the United States.
- Safety Precautions: Before a session, users must remove all metal objects (keys, jewelry, credit cards, mobile devices, etc.) and electronics that could be affected by the magnetic field. For animal sessions, halters, blankets, ID microchips, and collars are safe to keep on, provided the animal is clean and dry. Metal screws, plates, and non-electrical implants are not contraindications, though interaction may be felt at higher intensities.
- Contraindications: PEMF should NOT be used on humans who are pregnant, have implanted electronic devices (pacemakers, defibrillators, cochlear devices), or are actively bleeding. For animals, PEMF should NOT be used on pregnant animals, those with undiagnosed injuries or illnesses, horses exhibiting colic symptoms, or actively bleeding internally or externally (wounds, hematomas, severe ulcers).
- Accessory Usage: For full-body accessories, the Total Body Bed should be used on a massage table, and the Chair Pad on a rocking chair. The Chair Pad should not be used on leather easy-chairs or recliners to prevent trapped heat due to lack of airflow. Pulse Technology should not be operated near significant amounts of metal, as magnetic fields do not travel through metal, and this can cause uncomfortable pinging sounds. Avoid operating near liquids to prevent internal damage to the machine and physical harm to the user.
- Serial Number Location: Serial numbers are crucial for warranty and repair. For Pulse XL Pro and Pulse X1, the serial number is on a silver, engraved plate on the backside of the unit (near the power plug and time clock), starting with "SN." For Pulse X, Pulse EQ-X, Pulse EQ-X1, and Pulse EQ-XX, it's inside the lid plate in the bottom right-hand corner, starting with "SN." For accessories, the serial number is on a label under the gray silicon cover of the black plug.
