What to do if Pur Line MISTY 10 Fan humidifier indicator light is on but there is wind and no mist?

  If the humidifier indicator light is on, there's wind but no mist, it could be due to several reasons: 1. The water tank may be empty. Refill the tank with water. 2. The auto temperature knob might not be open. Turn the auto temperature knob clockwise to open it. 3. The tank cover might not be properly placed. Ensure the float cover is pressed down securely.

  If you notice smoke coming from the motor or a burning smell, or if metal parts are exposed to electricity, or the fan insulation is damaged, or the rear cover of the motor is damaged, stop using the fan immediately and send it to a service agent for repair.
