RS-232 +
An industry first, the MAX2 RS-232 + extension / distribution system simplifies
managing control to sources and displays connected to MAX2 extenders. RS-
232 + enables a control system connected via LAN or RS232 to the MAX2
frame to control the system on three separate levels:
1) MAX2 Matrix Router set up, diagnostics and operation
2) MAX2 HDBaseT and Fiber Extenders set up, diagnostics and
operation
3) Control of third-party devices attached to MAX2 Extenders (both Tx
and Rx)
RS-232 + simplifies control, increasing reliability while also lowering costs by
removing control design, hardware and cabling.
