Why is my water still hard with the PURIKOR Control Unit?
    • M
      Melody StephensAug 14, 2025
If the water remains hard when using the PURIKOR Control Unit, several issues could be the cause. Ensure the by-pass valve is closed. Check the salt level and add salt to the tank if it's empty. Inspect the injector/screen for any blockages and clean if necessary. Verify that water is flowing correctly to the brine tank by checking the brine tank refill rate. If you have hard water in the hot water tank, repeating the flushing of the hot water tank might be required. Also, check for leaks between the valve and central tube, inspecting for cracks or damaged o-rings and replacing any faulty parts. Finally, an internal valve leak could be the culprit, requiring replacement of the valve seals, spacer, and piston assembly.

What to do if PURIKOR PKVSF26D Control Unit fails to start regeneration cycle?
    • B
      Brian SmithAug 18, 2025
If your PURIKOR Control Unit isn't starting a regeneration cycle, there are a couple of things you can check. First, make sure the unit is getting power by checking the electrical service and fuse. If there was a power failure, try resetting the time of day on the unit.

How to fix PURIKOR Control Unit if it fails to draw brine?
    • M
      Michael YuAug 21, 2025
If the PURIKOR Control Unit isn't drawing brine, start by checking if the drain line flow control, injector, or screen are plugged and clean these parts. Ensure the inlet pressure is at least 25 PSI. An internal valve leak could also be the problem, in that case replace the seals, spacers, and piston assembly.

    Alexander ColemanAug 25, 2025
Why is the water pressure low with my PURIKOR PKVSF26D Control Unit?
    • K
      Kathleen MarquezAug 26, 2025
Low water pressure with your PURIKOR Control Unit can be caused by a few things. Iron or scale buildup in the line feeding the unit can restrict flow, so cleaning the pipes is recommended. Iron buildup inside the valve or tank can also be a factor; clean the control and add resin cleaner to clean the bed, and consider increasing regeneration frequency. Lastly, check if the inlet of the control is plugged with foreign material; if so, remove the piston and clean the control valve.

    Morgan GarciaAug 28, 2025
What to do if PURIKOR Control Unit has continuous flow to drain?
    • C
      Cory ContrerasAug 28, 2025
If water is continuously flowing to the drain with your PURIKOR Control Unit, verify the valve settings are correct. Also, check for any foreign material in the control valve and clean it if necessary. An internal leak could also be the cause, requiring replacement of the seals, spacers, and piston assembly.

Why is there too much water in the brine tank of my PURIKOR Control Unit?
    • E
      Erin RiosAug 31, 2025
If there's too much water in the brine tank of your PURIKOR Control Unit, start by checking the injector and screen for any clogs and clean these parts. Also, inspect the brine tank for any foreign material and clean the parts.
  • K
    Kathy SmithSep 3, 2025
How to stop resin from appearing in the drain line of my PURIKOR Control Unit?
    • A
      aguilarjenniferSep 3, 2025
If you find resin in the drain line of your PURIKOR Control Unit, it could be due to air in the water system. Check the well system for proper air eliminator control. Also, check if the drain line flow control (DLFC) button is correct for your system's flow rate.
  • J
    Julie EverettSep 6, 2025
Why is the salt usage so high with my PURIKOR PKVSF26D?
    • G
      Gloria WalkerSep 7, 2025
If the salt usage is high with your PURIKOR Control Unit, check the refill time setting. If the refill time is too high, adjust it accordingly.
  • C
    caseypetersSep 10, 2025
What causes the valve to continuously cycle on a PURIKOR PKVSF26D Control Unit?
    • D
      Dean SpencerSep 10, 2025
If the valve on your PURIKOR Control Unit is continuously cycling, it could be due to a broken gear. Replace any faulty parts.
