• Then insert the lower stand tube (11) to the upper stand tube, and tighten the lower
stand tube (11) by turning it anticlockwise.
• Finally insert the lower stand tube (11) to the hole on the base (12), and tighten the
lower stand tube (11) by turning it clockwise. Remember not to over-tighten it.
2. Fix the rear guard (5)
• Remove the blade assembly nut (2) and the rear guard nut (4) from the engine
shaft (6).
• Position the rear guard (5) onto the engine shaft (6) while ensuring that the mark “I”
on the rear guard (5) is up.
• Then re-position the rear guard nut (4) onto the engine shaft (6), and tighten it to
secure the rear guard (5).
3. Fix the blade assembly (3)
• Slide the blade assembly (3) onto the engine shaft (6) and make sure the engine
shaft (6) is fully seated into the groove of the blade assembly (3).
• Then tighten the blade assembly (3) by fastening the blade assembly nut (2).
