  If your QMAXZ Lighting DJ Equipment fixture appears completely dead, here's what you should check: * First, ensure the fixture is receiving power by checking the mains power supply and power-plug connections. * Next, inspect the power input fuse (5A) located in the mains connector on the power panel and replace it if it's blown. * Finally, check the PCB board fuse (10A) located on the main PCB board inside the fixture and replace it if necessary.

If it doesn't, disconnect the fixture and correct the mains supply before reconnecting. 2. Check if the lamp is either missing or defective. If so, disconnect the mains power supply and replace the lamp. 3. Ensure the lamp or fixture isn't too hot to restrike. If it is, let the fixture cool down, clean the fans and air vents, and try again. You can also try another temperature mode. 4. Confirm that the shutter is not in blackout mode. If it is, take the shutter out of blackout mode or perform a reset.

Allow the fixture to cool down, clean the fans and air vents, and try again. Also, try another temperature mode. * The mains power supply might not match the fixture's requirements. Check the power supply and correct it if necessary before reconnecting the fixture. * The lamp may have reached the end of its lifetime. Disconnect the mains power supply and replace the lamp.

Also, check the data link connection and cables for correct connection or damage. See if one of the fixtures in the link is causing the problem (bad DMX data board). * Check DMX cables for proper connection, correct wiring, and repair cables if damaged. * Insert a DMX terminator in the last fixture of the link if the DMX link is not terminated with a 120 Ohm termination plug. * Use only 3 or 5 pin DMX connectors and not both at the same time. * Try removing the fixture with the probable defective DMX data board out of the link to see if the problem still occurs.
