Summary

Mark screw positions with pencil, drill two holes (8-40mm) in wall.

Fix the mounting plate securely onto the wall.

Use double-sided tape for temporary mounting on doorframes or walls.

Mount doorbell straight and secure with anti-theft screws.

Turn off power, disconnect existing doorbell, verify 12-24Vac power supply.

Position support plate over cables, mark holes, and install plate.

Connect cables (order indifferent), attach doorbell, tighten screws, restore power.
